    Animals:A cross was made between two meat-type lines divergently selected for fatness.
     Breeds associated:

    Design:Birds were genotyped for markers on chromosomes 1, 3, 5, and 7. Three approaches, including transcriptome profiling and eQTL mapping, were used to refine a QTL region on chromosome 5.
    Analysis:An interval mapping method was used to detect QTL. Multivariate QTL analysis was also performed.
