    Animals:Two modern broiler sire from a mommercial breeder male line with 5-10 dams from two highly inbred lines, Fayoumi and Leghorn, were crossed.
     Breeds associated:
    n/a
    Design:Body weight was recorded for all crosses at hactch and in 2 week intervals up to 8 weeks of age.
    Analysis:Microsatellites were selected to cover the largest 25 chromosomes and linkage groups of the East Lansing linkage map, at approximately equal intervals.
