    Animals:The experimental population consisted of 1,740 crossbred dairy sheep, from crosses of meat-type sheep to dairy-type East Friesian and Lacuane breed.
     Breeds associated:

    Design:Of the 1,740 animals, 226 had genotypes for 54,241 SNPs on the Illumina OvineSNP50 genotyping array.
    Analysis:Three statistical techniques, namely genome-wide association study (GWAS), ridge-regression BLUP and BayesCpi, were used to identify SNPs in significant association with three milk production traits.
