Animals:The F2 population was derived from a cross between Meishan and Large White pigs. Larger-scale association analysis was carried out in commercial lines consisting of Duroc and Large White, Pietrain, and Hampshire.
     Breeds associated:
Design:The selection criteria were applied when animals had ad libitum access to feed: daily feed intake, lean feed conversion, and lean growth rate.
Analysis:In the F2 population, the genotype and phenotype information was analyzed using the restricted maximum-likelihood (REML) method.
    Software:Microsoft Excel, Genstat 6.1
