  •  QTL Experiment in Brief
Animals:Animals were from Meishan x Pietrain, European wild boar x Pietrain, and European wild boar x Meishan crosses.
     Breeds associated:
Design:Animals were genotyped for 242 genetic markers and analyzed for daily gain, backfat, and carcass weight.
Analysis:Crosses were analyzed using a flexible genetic model that estimated an additive QTL effect for each founder breed allele and a dominant QTL effect for each combination of alleles derived from different founder breeds.
    Software:CRIMAP, Bigmap
