  •  QTL Experiment in Brief
Animals:A 3-generation intercross was generated by natung 3 Iberian boars from the genetically isolated Guadyerbas strain with 18 Meishan sows.
     Breeds associated:
    n/a
Design:Animals were genotyped for teat number based on 115 microsatellites and 2 polymerase chain reaction restriction fragment length polymorphism markers.
Analysis:Analysis was performed using least squares models fitting parent-of-origin coefficients as covariates. Likelihood ratio tests were calculated to assess the significance of QTL effects.
    Software:Genescan 3.7 siftware, CRI-MAP 2.4
