Animals: | Animals were commercial pigs from a three-way cross consisting of a Duroc sire line on an F1 hybrid female (Landrace * Large White). |

Design: | Animals were genotyped using the Illumina PorcineSNP60 BeadChip and analyzed for meat pH and color traits. A total of 42,456 SNPs were used for analysis. |
Analysis: | Marker effects were estimated by fitting all SNPs simultaneously using Bayes B methods. Further analyses on the SNPs within 1-Mb windows were implemented using a mixed animal model. |
