On behalf of the FAANG V2F Task Force, I am pleased to announce the opening
session of our 2026 seminar series, V2F Frontiers Methods, Technologies and
Barriers in Livestock Variant-to-Function.
Seminar 1 - Methods
Regulatory-variant testing methods in livestock cells, a practical toolkit for
the FAANG community

Time: 1500 UTC 1600 BST / 1100 EDT / 800 PDT
Format Zoom webinar, 60 minutes. Two 25-minute talks, 5 min questions/answers
each.

screens to livestock species
- Ziga Avsec - Google DeepMind - Advancing regulatory variant effect prediction
with AlphaGenome
The series will continue with Seminar 2, Technologies in September 2026, and
Seminar 3 Barriers at PAG, January 2027.
