Dear Colleagues:

The webinar series on computer vision resumes next week.

For January 17th 9:00 am ET, 2023 we will host Dr. Thomas Banhazi.

Dr. Banhazi’s webinar presentation will include on-farm evaluation of the
precision of computer vision image analysis-based weight prediction
system and hands-on experiences with PLF technologies.

Thomas Banhazi, PhD

Professor & Director, National Taiwan University

Thomas completed his PhD at the University of Adelaide in South Australia
studying the engineering aspects of livestock buildings and their impact
on indoor environmental quality. University of Southern Queensland (USQ)
in 2010 as an Associate Professor and the National Taiwan University as
Professor in 2022.

Thomas has supervised 35+ post-grad students with published books with 55
peer reviewed journal articles, 25 book chapters, 40 research projects
and over 250 conference proceedings and industry reports/extension
articles. Thomas has 6 patents and engaged in the commercialization of
his patented inventions via his companies established in Europe and
Australia. His expertise is mainly related to PLF applications and
housing & environmental assessment methods.
