Subject: 10 fellowships available for graduate students who
       submit an abstract to the Transgenic Animal
       Conference August 13-17, 2023 in Tahoe City,
       California

A limited number of fellowships (valued as $1,500) are available through a
USDA conference grant for graduate students who submit a selected abstract to
the Transgenic Animal Research Conference (TARC) XIV which will be held
Sunday-Thursday, August 13-17, 2023 at the Conference Center at Granlibakken,
Tahoe City, California. Fellowship recipients will be chosen based on poster

Friday June 23rd, 2023 to be considered. Successful applicants will be
notified by June 30th, 2023.

These fellowships include:
• 4 nights lodging: Arrival on Sunday and departure on Thursday
• Meals provided: 4 breakfasts, 4 lunches, 4 dinners
• Ground Transportation to/from Reno Airport or Davis/Sacramento.

Travel costs to get to either Reno or Sacramento is not included in these
fellowship.

The Transgenic Animal Research Conference (TARC) meets every two years and
brings together representatives from the leading laboratories worldwide who
are doing cutting edge research on transgenesis and gene editing in
non-murine animals, including livestock, fish and poultry species.

The previous events were each attended by up to 150 participants from 12 to
16 countries. Early bird registration is now open, with lower price for
students and postdocs. Fees increase after June 1st, 2023.

Intended Audience: Scientists working in the fields of genetic engineering
and gene editing in agricultural species, federal regulators and livestock
producers.
