Transgenic Animal Research Conference XIV

Sunday-Thursday, August 13-17, 2023

Tahoe City, California

The Transgenic Animal Research Conference (TARC) meets every two years and
brings together representatives from the leading laboratories worldwide who
are doing cutting edge research on transgenesis and gene editing in
non-murine animals, including livestock, fish and poultry species.

Join us and participate in TARC XIV near beautiful Lake Tahoe, California!
The previous events were each attended by up to 150 participants from 12 to
16 countries.

Intended Audience: Scientists working in the fields of genetic engineering
and gene editing in agricultural species, federal regulators and livestock
producers.

This year's Agenda features 25 speakers and focuses on:
• Agricultural Applications
• Getting Products to the Market
• Technology
• Biomedical Applications
• Policy

Early bird registration is now open. Fees increase after June 1st. Lower
price for students until June 30!

Student Poster Contest:
Student presentations will be judged, the winner will be announced at the
Conference. The John Clark Student Poster Award is sponsored by The Roslin
Institute, University of Edinburgh, UK. Learn more about the poster contest
on our website.

Grad Student Fellowships Available to Cover Registration Fees:
Please submit your poster abstract by Thursday June 15 to be considered.

Recipients will be chosen based on abstract submission. A limited number of
fellowships is available to graduate students. Recipients will be notified by
June 30.
