• Nominal test - control %FP at level of individual test
  • Ignore multiple testing

• Chromosome wide test - control %FP at chromosome level
  • Account for multiple (correlated) tests on chromosome

• Experiment wide test - control %FP within experiment
  • Account for all tests conducted within experiment

• Genome wide test - control %FP based on all current and future tests that will be conducted on this genome
